During the eight-week online course, we were asked to create a "Digital Learning Inventory" of our home schools and/or districts. Guiding questions were given to help explore the technology based resources available to fellow educators for their use in inhancing student learning. The inventory also provided TGC participants with a forum for brain storming recommendations for future growth of technology for their home schools and/or districts. My "Digital Learning Inventory", which solely reflects his observations about Webster County High School (2013-14 school year) in Dixon, Kentucky.

The following are other websites that are avaialbe to teachers at Webster County to help them connect with their student and implement digital literacy (for students...and themselves!)
- Weebly.com (for website creation. Very user friendly! Can upload videos, hyperlinks, create blogs, ect.)
- Remind...formally known as Remind 101 (great way to stay in contact with students to remind them of assignments or upcoming events)
- Classjump (great for those of you trying to create a reverse classroom. You can post power points and documents on this website for students to complete classwork at home...freeing up more time in class for interactive, hands-on activities.
- Instagram (blocked at school) great way to keep in touch with students and build relationship. It's like Facebook without the drama. You post pictures of where you have been. I also use it to post my daily inspirational quote from my classroom. You can chose to keep your account closed (so you have to approve who sees your pictures) or open for all. You can also follow other students posts. Great way to stay connected; after all, a picture is worth 1,000 words. Works best through your phone as an app.
- Youtube. Finally unblocked last year!!! so many great teaching resources. History teachers...check out the "historyteachers". Great historical 'music videos' spoofing popular songs...the good news is the kids love it and then the information gets stuck in their head!
